Blind Spot is a documentary about the current oil and energy crisis facing our world.

Whether through ignorance, greed, or wishful thinking, we have brought ourselves to a crossroads that offers two paths with dire consequences.

If we continue to burn fossil fuels, life on Earth will be smothered, or our way of life will collapse.

An Inconvenient Truth makes it look like a sitcom, according to one review.

There are plenty of environmental films out there that don’t paint a rosy picture but still want us to think everything will be fine, and Blindspot doesn’t. Director Adolf Döring, along with many scientists, economists, and other experts, wisely decided that the time to coddle us is over, perhaps too long.

This absolutely beautiful photo is an ode to the end of our world, because we know it doesn’t even bother to convince us. You either see the visual beauty of this world, city and country and want to save it, or you don’t.

You either hear and heed the wisdom of his cadre of experts, or you don’t. There are no scares in this movie, just absolute, grim realities that we face or don’t face.

Anyway, the movie tells us it’s coming, as an environmentalist quotes nature (which I’m paraphrasing): either you do it or I do it, and when I do I remove things, big of which Part will be you.
