BRABUS – MERCEDES TUNING FROM GERMANY
This document accompanies the complex tuning process of the Mercedes G and Mercedes S-Class. For more than 50 years, all Daimler vehicles have been decorated according to customer specifications at the Brabus main plant in Bottrop, Germany.
Some 450 employees tune current Mercedes models and breathe new life into iconic classic cars from the 1960s and 70s. The personal car business is international – around 90% of the cars produced here are exported.
The Mercedes G-Class, also known as the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, is a luxury SUV that has been in production since 1979. Originally developed as a military vehicle, the G-Class evolved into a high-end off-road vehicle popular with luxury car enthusiasts.
The G-Class is known for its avant-garde, avant-garde design and excellent off-road capabilities. With permanent four-wheel drive, three differential locks and a low-range gearbox, it can tackle even the toughest terrain. The suspension system is also designed to provide excellent off-road performance while maintaining a comfortable ride on pavement.
