Confessions of an Undercover Cop

Mark Kennedy went undercover for seven years, leading a double life juggling two identities and dealing with the daily pressure of lying to people. As if that wasn’t difficult enough, he falls in love with one of the men he’s spying on. It’s the story of a man who has lived two lives, and it all comes crashing down when Max Stone is revealed as an undercover cop.

His childhood was peaceful, happy… normal. His father works in the police station, he is a traffic officer. Mark joined the Metropolitan Police in 1990 and was transferred to the Metropolitan Police. He does some really interesting work like investigating racial and hate crimes against minorities.

In the mid-1990s, there was a lot of street drug prevention action, and a lot of it was covert. He passed the course and was assigned to a team shortly after. He was a mystery shopper and part of an entire investigative team, often based on specific properties in London. Basically, he would buy drugs from suspected drug dealers, and then other people would film the incident and support him, and then arrest them.

Through practice, he acquired a new personality, opened many doors, met many people involved in crimes, and broadened his horizons. He was so good that when a drug dealer was arrested and told she was selling drugs to undercover cops, she couldn’t believe it…she kept saying, “No way, he’s my friend.”

Soon, the National Public Order Intelligence Service took an interest in him. He didn’t even know such a unit existed. He was invited to several meetings and interviews and was eventually selected. He was told his role was to provide information to authorities so they could monitor the demonstrations in proportion.
