The Silent Plot is an unreleased 56-minute documentary film produced by Yorkshire Television in 1994.
The film is the subject of an alleged child sex abuse ring that involved some of Nebraska’s biggest names, including Omaha banker Lawrence King, a political fundraiser and a convicted felon.
The documentary was originally scheduled to air on May 3, 1994, on the Discovery Channel cable channel in the United States.
However, it never aired. Supporters of the film claim it was withdrawn due to political pressure; neither Yorkshire Television nor the Discovery Channel have officially commented on why it was not aired.
