Fools and Dreamers: Regenerating a Native Forest

Hugh Wilson is the manager of the HineWAI Nature Reserve and Wildlife Reserve in the southeast corner of the Bank of New Zealand Peninsula, and is a person who performs tasks. As an ambitious botanist, he was damaged by natural glory. When he announced a plan to reverse these decay trends, he was trapped into extensive absurdity and contempt. Infectious documentary “Fools and Dreamists: Regeneration of Local Forests” provides beautiful portraits for this inspiring and kind person and pay tribute to natural elastic power.

Wilson had a deep interest in birds and plants when he was young. This is a kind of enthusiasm, and he has existed in his life. When he had the opportunity to help the regeneration work, he chose nearly 4,000 acres of local forests. These forests were full of soft hills, bright emeralds, vibrant waterfalls and night sky, and unlimited stars.

Wilson’s regeneration projects include GORSE, GORSE is a large number of shrubs, and most residents in the region regard it as annoying weeds. He found the community -especially farmers. Although this is regarded as the trouble of effective agriculture, GORSE can be used as a powerful engine to promote regeneration. It accelerated this process, paved the way for larger biological diversity, and ensured that vegetation and wild animals were preserved. The effect of this experiment is much faster and more powerful than anyone expected.

The story of this film is shaped by Wilson’s ecological philosophy. He believes that people are too smart and cannot destroy things. Instead, you should learn to take a step back and let nature take your own course. Technology can only make it so far, and it often affects our basic appreciation of our basic construction of daily life. His position is not as good as his life.

Fools and dreamers: The regeneration of local forests is the love of men’s vision of the earth. Wilson does make a difference in his little corner. Perhaps his biggest contribution is his ability to inspire others to follow his leadership.
