Hell in the Pacific

As one of the fiercest battlegrounds of World War II, Pearl Harbor was the catalyst that propelled the United States into the greatest conflict ever and ultimately liberated the peoples of Asia and the Pacific.

On December 7, 1941, Japan launched a surprise attack across the Pacific, burned warships at Pearl Harbor, routed Britain in Malaya, and occupied Singapore, the greatest humiliation in British wartime history.

The Japanese seem unstoppable now, after a decade of war with China and shocking the world with atrocities like the Nanking Massacre, they believe their destiny is to rule Asia under the Emperor who serves them is the Immortal God.

Hell – On December 7th, 1941, Japan launches an attack in the Pacific, killing thousands at Pearl Harbor and capturing Singapore – and a vicious and bloody battle ensues.

Purgatory – the fate of those who fell into the hands of the Japanese during World War II. More than 100,000 prisoners of war endured appalling conditions in the camps, while doctors were raped and murdered.

Armageddon – In a war far removed from the Geneva Conventions, thousands of soldiers are captured, tortured and killed on the battlefield and in POW camps.

Apocalypse—as Japan weakens, her resistance grows—some kill themselves; others turn to cannibalism as supplies dwindle. But it all ended after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
