If you take the time to compare the language and vocabulary of Zionists or Neo-Nazis, you will see no difference in how they justify their actions. Communists, fascists or Islamic extremists use the same type of justification as the groups above. They all think they are right and everyone else is wrong. Regardless of their political or religious affiliations, extremists are the same: They want to hurt others because they paradoxically justify irrational thinking and behavior.
Judging by Lewis’s journalism, both Jews and Palestinians appear to be the most fanatical and delusional people on earth. It’s as if the entire Middle East is stuck in a time trap, deep in religious and moral issues, unable to move forward and create a progressive, efficient society. Civilizations in this region are older than any other region on Earth, yet they still maintain the mentality that prevailed in antiquity.
What is behind this way of thinking? Is it narcissism and anti-socialism, entitlement, elitism and blindness? Is this a fictional command from heaven to separate from oneself and to eliminate or completely destroy anyone who dislikes oneself? Whatever the reason, one thing is clear – these people are the collective enemy of others, because the progress of our society is hindered by their beliefs and actions.
