The documentary tells the story behind Seung-hee Cho, a South Korean student at Virginia Tech who mass murdered 32 people and injured 25 others in a killing spree that became known as the Virginia Tech massacre.
Joe committed suicide after police forced open the doors of the building where he killed and injured most of his victims.
Cho came to the United States with his family when he was young. He suffered from a severe anxiety disorder called selective mutism in middle school, as well as depression.
During Cho’s final two years at Virginia Tech, several of his escapades and the fact that his submitted screenplays and other work contained evidence of violence drew the attention of teachers and fellow students.
