Meat the Truth
From the author: Climate Change and Global Warming – Yes, I know it’s a hoax, and it’s a hoax designed to scare us and impose a carbon tax as if we weren’t already being taxed to death.
The video addresses a topic that is almost always ignored when officials and scientists discuss climate.
What about the 90 billion animals raised for food? The energy to grow food, feed it, transport it, slaughter it and finally get it to your local grocery store in the form of packaged meat or pre-made/frozen meals and various by-products.
Let’s not forget that these billions of beings produce a lot of shit and urine, and they have to go somewhere. Negative health concerns aside, the practice is sure to cause widespread pollution and pollute our air, water, and land. Comparisons to cars and CO2 emissions in this film are intended to clarify what is not discussed.
The documentary Meat the Truth is the first major project of the Nicolaas G. Pierson Foundation. Meat the Truth is a high-quality documentary produced by Marianne Thieme (President of the Animal Party) that complements previous films on climate change.
While these films have convincingly succeeded in drawing public attention to the problem of global warming, they have consistently ignored one of the most important causes of climate change: intensive livestock farming. Meat the Truth raises eyebrows by demonstrating that the world’s livestock industry produces more greenhouse gas emissions than all cars, trucks, trains, ships and planes combined.
