In 1795, three young men discovered a circular depression in the ground on Oak Island, Nova Scotia.
They dug 30 feet deep before stopping. They found wooden slatted platforms every 10 feet. As men, they continue their journey in vain.
Millions of dollars have been spent over the years to find the secrets at the bottom of the pit. Six men have died trying to acquire treasure that may or may not exist.
As recently as 2010, no one had yet reached the bottom, but rumor has it that the island’s owners are waiting for permission to resume digging.
