In many respects, the United States appears to be making the same mistakes that Germany made before World War II. Since taking office in 2008, President Barack Obama has launched an aggressive assault on American liberty with a promise of hope and change.
He has armed America’s enemies, reneging on his oath of office, by supplying funds and weapons of war to Syrian insurgents led by Al Qaeda terrorists.
He broke federal law by overseeing a cover-up of Attorney General Eric Holder’s Operation Fast and the Furious, which involved the sale of guns to Mexican drug cartels.
He deceived the American people by overseeing the cover-up of the 9/11 Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya, which directly resulted in the deaths of four American citizens.
Before attacking Libya, he bypassed Congress with an executive order, insisting that congressional approval was not required.
He signed the National Defense Authorization Act, which included provisions allowing the kidnapping and military detention of all U.S. citizens without trial, in violation of habeas corpus.
On January 16, 2013, surrounded by children, he signed 23 separate executive orders calling for more comprehensive gun control in the United States.
