Until now, or until the past 30 years, the conventional wisdom in science and theology has been that we are alone in the universe; a single repository of life somewhere in the known universe. Well, no one believed it anymore. Out of the Blue presents unsolved cases from around the world, examining 50 years of official inconsistencies and denials, and possible reasons for their secrecy. The film also examines the scientific theories of interstellar travel and discusses the current campaign to officially reveal UFOs — a subject that most government officials don’t think deserves serious investigation.
UFOs and the Army – 1964, ex-Lieutenant. Bob Jacobs, 13th-69th U.S. Air Force, poses for a photo at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. His mission was to photograph the Atlas rocket going through all three stages of powered flight. While developing the film, the camera found something unexpected. According to Jacobs, a saucer entered the frame as the rocket traveled between 11,000 and 14,000 miles per hour.
