It’s a balanced and thought-provoking documentary about the mind-body connection, and how we can more directly understand our health and the world in general.
It’s premised on the fact that we have more power over our own lives than previously thought, and focuses on the key to taking more responsibility for our well-being, rather than allowing stress from environment and upbringing to cause disease.
The documentation consists of three parts. It begins with ‘What Makes Being Human’, with discussions with internationally renowned experts such as Dr. Joe Dispenza and Bruce Lipton on how the size of our frontal lobe, where we create, dream and make decisions, makes us uniquely human.
Her research shows that our 50 trillion cells are like miniature individuals, each with a consciousness controlled by our attitudes and perceptions, which in turn are shaped by our upbringing and environment .
They talk about the connection between stress and disease, our ability to make our thoughts more real than anything else, and how we become so obsessed with thoughts about the past or future that we create the things we become obsessed with.
Therefore, if we choose to control our thoughts, we can change our lives and achieve different outcomes.
