Even after more than 4,000 years, the Egyptian pyramids remain awe-inspiring and awe-inspiring due to their sheer size, complexity, and persistent questions and myths about how they were built so long ago. With no record of how they were constructed in the first place, a lot of work has been done to unravel these mysteries, and researchers have drawn some possible conclusions. These revelations form the basis of the new Pyramid of Naked Science Documentary.

How did the Egyptians create such massive structures with such precision? How were millions of heavy rocks transported without cranes? What was the thinking behind their inventive triangular designs? Who is ultimately responsible for the layers of stone?

These questions continue to challenge and perplex even the most accomplished engineers and Egyptologists. This is especially true of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo, Egypt. Standing 481 feet tall, 775 feet in diameter and weighing as much as 16 Empire State Buildings, this iconic structure is the world’s only surviving wonder. It consists of millions of heavy stones, each weighing up to 50 tons.

The experts in the film demonstrate the astonishing precision with which the stones were layered and speculate about the basic tools they used to achieve this. We heard how tireless it must have been to complete the project; 25,000 workers put up barriers every two minutes for 23 years. The film also offers a plausible examination of long-standing myths (were the pyramids really built on the backs of slaves?), we learn what these structures meant to the Egyptian people, and engineers try to explain how they did it after thousands of Years, it is almost intact.

It is hard to imagine a more impressive work of architecture, or one more shrouded in mystery and mystery, in the known history of our planet. With the contagious curiosity typical of a Naked Science documentary series, Pyramid weaves a spell as seductive and captivating as its subject.
