The Hidden Enemy: Inside Psychiatry’s Covert Agenda
Every day, unprecedented numbers of military and veterans commit suicide around the world. A revealing and hard-hitting documentary titled “The Hidden Enemy: Psychiatry’s Secret Agenda” places the blame on the psychiatry industry.
Following the events depicted in the movie, a sinister plan is put into motion at the 1940 annual meeting of the National Board of Mental Hygiene. There, Brigadier General JR Rees announced plans to introduce psychiatric care into the military. He announced that the military and other combat units formed rather unique experimental groups because they were whole communities and it was possible to arrange certain experiments in a way that would be very difficult in civilian life. These heroes fighting for their country will provide the ideal breeding ground for an industry struggling to gain global public acceptance.
Three-quarters of a century later, these practices are still valid and more profitable than ever. A disastrous symptom is the military’s overreliance on the prescription of antipsychotic drugs. Several members of the military confirmed the disturbing trend in the film. You’re going to see far too many soldiers not getting the proper medical exams they deserve because drug sales are still a top priority. As a result, many soldiers were quickly diagnosed with PTSD, even though their symptoms could indicate more severe brain damage and received medication that only worsened their already shaky condition. These toxic drugs can cause severe behavioral changes and can be dangerous to others and, more often, to oneself.
Psychiatric infiltration within the military is not limited to soldiers. Kerry Patton, a retired Air Force sergeant who was interviewed, said rates of outpatient psychiatric care for children of active duty military personnel are at an all-time high. How much medicine do these children need now?
With great humanity and care, the film sheds light on a growing epidemic that has become the focus of public attention in military units around the world.
