The True Story of Che Guevara

From his frequent trips on motorcycles to the pivotal role he played in the Cuban Revolution, Che Guevara, the revolutionary from Argentina, is documented in a documentary that explores his life. His image has become a popular symbol of left-wing politics.

This man, who ordered the execution of countless people while in charge of the infamous La CabaƱa prison in Havana, who terrorized the Cuban populace and who denied freedom to thousands of citizens he considered to be “deviant” or “anti-revolutionary” cannot be considered a hero, martyr or, what is more shocking, a saint.

It’s a worthwhile documentary because it exposes other individuals involved in the revolution, and it employs a new method of presenting the individual that features a lot of hard rock in the background to make him seem “radical”. Jon Anderson, the author of one of the most in-depth biographies on him, is frequently interviewed, additionally, American soldiers who participated in the revolution are featured in the interviews, this is interesting to see them. Overall, it’s a more entertaining documentary.
