World War I in Color is a documentary film that recreates World War I for a 21st century audience.

The events of 1914-18 are narrated primarily by Kenneth Branagh, who provides a military and political overview, while interviews with historians add different perspectives.

The human cost is conveyed through moving interviews with now aging survivors and excerpts from letters and memoirs. All aspects of land, sea and air warfare are covered in separate programs.

The main difference between this show and the World War II show is that instead of filming World War I in color, it was colored with a computer.
